    Description

    Nikon TRA-3  Binocular Tripod Mount

Use the Nikon TRA-3 Binocular Tripod Adapter to mount any binocular with an integrated 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the bridge hinge for hands-free and fatigue-free use with greatly reduced vibration. The large thumbscrew allows it to be installed on the binocular without any tools, and has a threaded 1/4"-20 socket on the base for photo/video/field tripods, heads, and quick release plates. Its centre post is long and thin to provide the clearance required to use on larger objectives up to 56mm in diameter, while maintaining the full (or near full) inter pupillary adjustment range.

    Joshua K. ★★★★★

The long textured thumbscrew makes it easy to tighten even with cold or gloved hands, and it fits my larger binoculars perfectly. A solid little piece that does exactly what it should.

    David ★★★★★

Finally, a tripod adaptor that actually fits my big 56mm objective binoculars without wobbling. The standard 1/4"-20 mount worked perfectly with my existing tripod plate.

    George D. ★★★★★

The long textured thumbscrew is a real lifesaver when I’ve got gloves on—no fumbling to tighten it. Screwed my 50mm objectives onto a standard tripod in under a minute, and it holds rock solid even when I’m panning. Exactly what I needed.
