    Description

To optimize the performance of the PF-65ED/EDA 65mm ED Spotting Scopes, PENTAX has developed three compact, high-performance XF-series eyepieces, all featuring a bright, high-contrast image, an American-standard 31.7mm sleeve and focal lengths ideal for outdoor viewing and bird watching.

The SMC PENTAX XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm features a focal-length range of 6.5mm to 19.5mm for a magnification of 20 to 60 times, with an apparent field of view of 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. It also offers a user-friendly rubber eyepiece ring to minimize the risk of scratching the observer's eyeglasses.

              Robert J. ★★★★★

I was worried about compatibility, but this zoom eyepiece fits perfectly on my 1.25-inch scope and the wide 42-60° apparent field of view makes scanning for birds much more immersive.

              Jacob G. ★★★★★

The eye relief on this thing is a game-changer—I can keep my glasses on and still see the full field without any dark edges. It’s also held up perfectly in a damp morning fog, no internal moisture at all. Paired with a 65mm scope, the zoom from 20x to 60x is smooth and sharp enough for picking out d

              Benjamin W. ★★★★★

The eye relief is generous enough to use with glasses, which was my main concern. Sharpness across the zoom range surprised me for a wide-angle eyepiece.
