    Description

The Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens for L Mount is the world’s smallest and lightest ultra-wide-angle zoom for APS-C mirrorless cameras*, offering professional-grade performance in a highly portable design. With a constant f/2.8 aperture and razor-sharp optics, it’s ideal for landscapes, travel, interiors, and video content creation.

Featuring a unique aspherical front element and special low-dispersion glass, this lens delivers high-resolution images while minimizing aberrations and distortion. The 11.6cm minimum focusing distance and 1:4 magnification ratio allow for expressive close-ups with dramatic perspective and smooth bokeh.

Weighing just 260g*, it’s perfect for handheld shooting or gimbal setups. The newly developed push-on petal-type lens hood complements the compact form factor. Designed to suppress focus breathing, it ensures natural-looking transitions in video. The fast, quiet stepping motor supports precise autofocus and is fully compatible with in-camera AF tracking modes.

With a dust- and splash-resistant mount and compatibility with electronic image stabilization and correction functions, this lens is built for real-world shooting. Pair it with the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN for a seamless 15–75mm equivalent range—all at a combined weight of just 550g.

    Kevin ★★★★★

I was worried about focus breathing for video, but it's barely noticeable and the autofocus is lightning fast on my L mount body. The f/2.8 aperture handles low light beautifully for such a compact lens.

    Richard ★★★★★

The aspherical element really helps keep the distortion under control at 10mm, and the fast stepping motor locks focus instantly. I'm impressed by how sharp the images are corner-to-corner even wide open at f/2.8.

    Ellie ★★★★★

I’ve been using this lens for street photography and the 10-18mm range is incredibly versatile. The f/2.8 aperture makes a real difference in low light, and the focusing is both fast and quiet.
