    Description

Featuring achromatic lenses with the renowned T* multi-coating for maximum light transmission, the ZEISS Mono 10x25 T* Monocular delivers a bright, high-contrast image. Its 10x magnification is the most powerful of the Mono series of monoculars; ZEISS calls the 10x25 a "miniature telescope" for its ability to display far-off details with such clarity. The close focus distance is less than 15 feet, eye relief is a comfortable 15mm, and the apparent angle of view is a respectable 51°.

The Mono 10x25 is especially suited to birding, nature observation, and travel. Its compact form factor – just 4.3 inches long and weighing only 3.1 ounces, with a leather pouch and a carrying strap – make it easy to have on hand. You'll want to take good care of such a nice optic, but you won't have to baby it: the housing is made of durable aluminum, it's splash resistant, and its operating temperature range is -4° to 104°.

For sporting events, in the theatre or in the great outdoors, the Monos are the masters of versatility, fitting snugly in a jacket pocket or handbag. Depending on the model, they are ideal for use as magnifying glasses or even for binocular amplification. They can turn your binoculars into a spotting scope by tripling the magnification. Even the smallest details can be seen: nothing escapes their notice. Whether you are watching dragonflies in the reeds or birds at a great distance, the Monos are an often undervalued but extremely useful aid to nature observation.

    Daniel Q. ★★★★★

The 25mm objective makes it genuinely pocketable, yet the T* coating pulls in enough light that I’ve used it comfortably at dusk. Focusing on a distant hawk’s eye via the Schmidt-Pechan prism was effortless—crisp, no color fringing. It’s become my daily carry for hikes and birding.

    Joshua ★★★★★

I was blown away by how sharp the image is through the T* multi-coated optics—even tiny details on a distant bird were crystal clear. The 10x magnification feels powerful without being shaky, and the whole thing fits easily in my jacket pocket.

    Ellie U. ★★★★★

Even at dusk, the 10x magnification pulls in details I couldn't catch with my naked eye. The image stays crisp and clear across the whole field of view, thanks to the Schmidt-Pechan prism design. It’s compact enough to slide into my jacket pocket for a hike.
