    Description

Featuring achromatic lenses with the renowned T* multi-coating for maximum light transmission, the 8x20 Mono T* Monocular delivers a bright, high-contrast image. Its 8x magnifying power produces a steady image for observing distant objects, whether a a bird in a tree or a player on a field. Its close focus, just under 10 feet, allows you to observe subjects nearby as well.

This monocular's compact form factor – only 3.7" long and weighing just 2.7 ounces, with a leather pouch and a carrying strap – make it easy to have on hand. Its housing is made of durable aluminum, it's splash resistant, and its operating temperature range is -4° to 104°.

For sporting events, in the theatre or in the great outdoors, the Monos are the masters of versatility, fitting snugly in a jacket pocket or handbag. Depending on the model, they are ideal for use as magnifying glasses or even for binocular amplification. They can turn your binoculars into a spotting scope by tripling the magnification. Even the smallest details can be seen: nothing escapes their notice. Whether you are watching dragonflies in the reeds or birds at a great distance, the Monos are an often undervalued but extremely useful aid to nature observation.

    Henry T. ★★★★★

The 8x magnification is perfect for birding, and the T* coating makes colors pop even in low evening light. Close focus at 9.8 feet lets me inspect tree bark details I'd never notice otherwise. It's become my constant hiking companion.

    Ruby ★★★★★

Slid it into my jacket pocket before a hike and forgot it was there until a hawk landed on a dead branch—the Schmidt-Pechan prism kept the image crisp and steady, and that 9.8-foot close focus let me watch a squirrel’s whiskers twitch. I’ve used bulkier binoculars for years, but this one disappears

    Ava ★★★★★

The close focus of 9.8 feet lets me inspect tiny details on birds that other monoculars can't handle. That T* coating makes a real difference in bright sun — colors pop without any glare.
