    Description

Featuring achromatic lenses with the renowned T* multi-coating for maximum light transmission, the 4x12 Mono T* Monocular delivers a bright, high-contrast image. Its moderate magnifying power produces a very steady image for observing distant objects, and its wide field of view – 540 feet at 1000 yards – lends itself to use at concerts, plays, and sporting events. Meanwhile, the 4x12 Mono's close focus distance of just 18" is useful for examining flowers, insects, brushstrokes on paintings, or fine printed matter.

For sporting events, in the theatre or in the great outdoors, the Monos are the masters of versatility, fitting snugly in a jacket pocket or handbag. Depending on the model, they are ideal for use as magnifying glasses or even for binocular amplification. They can turn your binoculars into a spotting scope by tripling the magnification. Even the smallest details can be seen: nothing escapes their notice. Whether you are watching dragonflies in the reeds or birds at a great distance, the Monos are an often undervalued but extremely useful aid to nature observation.

    Adam ★★★★★

I was surprised how much detail the T* multi-coating pulls in, even in dim evening light. The 4x magnification is just right for quick bird identification without needing to lug out full binoculars.

    Benjamin U. ★★★★★

The image stays crisp even at the 4x zoom, and the T* coating makes colors pop in overcast light. Close focus at 18 feet is handy for spotting birds without spooking them. It’s tiny enough to slide into a jacket pocket, which is exactly what I needed.

    Evelyn N. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about how much detail a 4x monocular could show, but the T* multi-coating makes the image incredibly crisp and bright even in low light. The compact size fits easily in my jacket pocket for quick looks on hikes.
